Find your size
1. Measure with a ring you already own: If you have a ring that fits well, take a ruler or a caliper and measure the inner diameter of the ring (from edge to edge, at the widest part). Compare this measurement with a ring size chart to find the corresponding size.
2. Use a strip of paper or thread: Take a thin strip of paper or a piece of thread, wrap it around the finger where you want to wear the ring, and mark the point where it overlaps. Then measure the length with a ruler and use a chart to determine your size.
3. Measure the finger directly: With a caliper, measure the circumference or diameter of your finger. You can also use a piece of string, wrap it around your finger, and then measure the length.
4. Visit a jeweler: If you want to be sure, a jeweler can measure your finger directly and give you the size.
